Treat water resistance as a maintained feature
Gaskets age and crowns must be fully secured. Have water resistance checked after a battery change, case opening or significant impact, and before relying on the watch around water.
Clean gently and regularly
Use a soft dry cloth for leather-strapped watches. Water-resistant steel bracelets can be wiped with a barely damp microfibre cloth, then dried thoroughly. Avoid solvents, household cleaners and abrasive polishing products.
Respect magnetism and impact
Speakers, magnetic clasps and some electronic accessories can affect mechanical timekeeping. Strong shocks can damage any movement. If accuracy changes suddenly, stop wearing the piece and contact customer care.
Keep the complete record
Retain your receipt, presentation materials and service documents. Registering the warranty securely connects the watch to its ownership record and makes future support more efficient.
